Do they have criminal record checks when you want to become a CPA. What kinds of things would disqualify me?

I want to get a license in the state of Minnesota, I have not been convicted of a felony but was arrested for one. I have several misdemeanors on my record, I want to know if that will disqualify me from taking the CPA exam.

You would have to check with the state board of public accountancy and find out their requirements. It would disqualify you in Texas.
